Today should mark 51 years of celebrating the federal constitutional right to an abortion.

Instead, today is another day in Democrats’ fight to stop Republican-led states from passing restrictions on abortion access.

Will you help us defeat anti-choice Republicans by chipping in anything you can today?

Here in Ohio, we were successful in doing so last November when we passed Issue 1, but not every state has been as fortunate. Reproductive healthcare is still under attack all over the country and Republicans in Congress are counting on taking back the Senate majority this year so they can enact a federal ban.

And that goal isn’t beyond their grasp. With Democrats’ slim margin in the Senate, if the GOP wins just Ohio, it could be enough to secure a Republican majority.

The worst part? Every single Ohio Republican running for Senate supports a national abortion ban.

If any of them win in November, we can say goodbye to our Democratic Senate majority and hello to a federal abortion ban.

So we have to ask: Will you chip in $5 today to elect Democrats in Ohio so we can protect and expand our Senate majority and codify Roe into law?
