Lauren wants to argue that we should all be more concerned about the falling U.S. birth rate than the economy. She even blamed the drop on “nearly one million abortions a year,” with zero supporting evidence.
You know what she didn’t mention? The increase in access to contraception in the past 30 years, or the financial struggles young families face that lead them to deciding not to have children.
I don’t care what data Lauren uses, though.
I care that she’s willing to sacrifice women’s rights and bodily autonomy across the nation to justify policies that have NOTHING to do with women.
That’s not the America I served, and it’s not the America we’ll live in when we help Democrats take back the House majority in November.
