Prince George's Young Democrats Biannual Executive Board Election
In response to the growing public health concern regarding the COVID-19 virus, PGCYD is taking the precautionary step to CANCEL the in-person 2020 Biannual Executive Board Elections that was scheduled on Saturday, March 21st. In addition, to abide by the State's instructions to practice social distancing, the election will be held online.
We will be extending candidate filing deadline and provide additional time for members to register to participate in the election. Online voting will be available Monday, March 30, 2020 ending Friday, April 3, 2020 at 11:59PM. Please ensure that your membership is current in order to receive access to the voting URL by Sunday, March 29, 2020 by registering HERE ([link removed]) .
We hope to make up for this and are exploring options to celebrate the elections results/installation so stay tuned…
