Yes, Congress has passed emergency legislation in response to the Coronavirus. But it is not protecting the millions living paycheck-to-paycheck. We are demanding that Congress pass a stronger stimulus bill to ensure that all communities are safe and protected during this time. A new piece of legislation is expected to help those most in need, but there are no guarantees. This is where your voice can help.

We have created a list of comprehensive policy recommendations that we are urging Congress to include in any new emergency response legislation. The highlights include the following:
1. Significantly increase access to medical care and benefits for all.
2. Provide immediate financial relief and paid sick/family/medical leave to all.
3. Ensure that citizenship is not a barrier to access to care.
4. Provide necessary assistance to those experiencing homelessness.
