Friend --
With a third case of Coronavirus diagnosed in
Indian River County, I wanted to take a few moments to let you know
that our family is taking this very seriously. Our son Easton has a
compromised immune system, specifically related to respiratory issues,
so this pandemic is very personal to Rachel and I. With my work in law
enforcement, and Rachel's nursing career at Cleveland Clinic Indian
River, we can't just permanently remove ourselves as this virus
descends on our community.
But we have taken steps to minimize our contact outside of
requirements of work to reduce the opportunity for exposure.
Unfortunately, that means no campaign events or meetings.?
We are grateful for your support over the past year and hope you
will continue to support us by doing everything within your power to
reduce the spread of this deadly virus. Please listen to
recommendations given by state and local advisories. Stand with us and
pray for the safety of our first responders and healthcare staff in
our community who are risking their lives and the safety of their
families.
We are all in this together. I have faith in our amazing country
that we will find new and innovative ways to live our lives, interact
with each other, and quickly develop a solution to this pandemic. We
are blessed to live in the greatest country on the planet with
incredible people dedicated to ensuring freedom reigns well beyond our
own lives.
If there is anything Rachel or I can do to assist you, please do
not hesitate to call me at 772-240-0249. Prayers for you and your
family.
