John, Indiana’s supermajority is showing its true colors this legislative session. To pass legislation requiring punitive consequences against 1,000’s of third graders just adds to the long list of poor education policies that hurt Hoosier students and families.
And at a time when literacy rates are a huge concern, the GOP responds by attacking and threatening to underfund public libraries. This makes no sense! We deserve leaders who will stand up against such efforts. We need a governor who will be proactive for our kids. We need a governor who will protect our kids.
