There’s nothing more serious than the defense of our country and active and effective communication between the Department of Defense and the Commander-in-Chief.  

That’s why the shocking revelation that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was unable to perform his duties and informed neither the White House or Congress of his incapacitation -- disregarding federal legal requirements to do so and putting the security of the United States at risk -- is so disturbing, Friend. 

As Senator Fischer so forcefully made clear, when we have no communication between the Secretary of Defense and the President, that makes us look weak, which puts us – and particularly our men and women who are overseas defending this country -- in a dangerous position. 

They deserve better from their leadership -- and so do we. 

Friend, we all know how chaotic things are internationally, and the Biden Democrats continue to fail in this most critical of responsibilities.  With conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East and Communist China and North Korea increasingly combatant in the western Pacific, we can’t afford to have such unacceptable breakdowns of duty and communication at the very top. 

Friend, Senator Fischer takes her role on the Senate Armed Services Committee -- and the security of this great country and its people very seriously -- which is why she’s out in front seeking an explanation and accountability for the Biden Administration’s dangerous failure. 

It’s a stark example of why we need her to return as part of a new Republican Senate Majority. 

That’s why we’re contacting you today, Friend!  We can’t elect that new and difference making GOP Senate Majority without first holding our own embattled seats -- like Senator Fischer’s.
