John,

Jesus once told a parable about an ungodly judge who ignored a widow's persistent pleas for justice until he finally got so annoyed that he granted her request. Jesus then contrasted the ungodly judge with our heavenly Father:

"And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?" (Luke 18:7)

Unlike the judge in the parable, God lovingly answers the cries of Christians in need of justice. He responds out of grace and love – not exasperation.
