It’s time to help downtown Portland turn a corner, John.

Last year, Governor Kotek announced the creation of the Portland Central City Task Force to address the challenges facing downtown Portland. The task force aimed to develop concrete next steps to strengthen the city’s economic future, improve community safety, help people experiencing homelessness, and more. 

Tina recently released 10 priority recommendations from the Portland Central City Task Force, and she needs your support. The plan will:

• Declare a fentanyl emergency in partnership with the City and County
• Ban public drug use
• Add more shelters and services for unhoused people 
• Clean up trash and graffiti, and take down plywood and fences

Tina is committed to this plan to support a vibrant Portland. Oregonians deserve a place where everyone feels safe and can enjoy the state’s largest city.
