‌As a doctor, I focus on the facts backed by science and data, and here's the truth, John‌: In Texas, our healthcare outcomes are some of the worst in the nation.

In 2021, nearly 20% of Texans were uninsured. Texas children were more than twice as likely as children in other states to be uninsured. Texas also ranks #49 in the nation for women’s healthcare.

From the frontlines in our hospitals, I've seen how our broken healthcare system fails so many in need — I’m determined to find solutions. That’s why I went to Congress to serve as a Health Policy Advisor where I fought alongside Speaker Pelosi to deliver better care and lower costs for all Americans. > Increase transparency for patients in the healthcare system.

> Ensure women have the right to make decisions about their health – without the interference of politicians.

In 2022, I worked with Democratic leaders in Washington on legislation to lower healthcare costs, improve diversity in clinical trials, and increase accessibility to quality healthcare. I am ready to continue this work as your Congressman for TX-32.
