BIG event on Tuesday with Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne.

And even BIGGER plans for Saturday!  It's our statewide DAY OF ACTION!  All across the state, we're calling on True Texans to help a candidate campaign.  Make sure to click the link below for details on time and location!

But first... can you help us out?  Google is sending emails from our CEO Julie McCarty to spam.  While True Texas Project enjoys a very high "open" rate for our emails, Julie's seem to be flagged, and the open rate has dropped over 60%!  Please check your spam.  If you find emails from True Texas Project, mark them "not spam" so that you don't miss anything!  The most recent one from Julie was sent Thursday, January 18.  If you haven't read it, check your spam.  If you still don't find it, email [email protected] and we'll resend it!  That will also help us gauge how widespread the problem is.

True Texas Project Statewide Day of Action

On Saturday, January 27th, we are calling on all True Texans to participate in our Election 2024 Day of Action!  Each satellite will partner with one or more candidates to coordinate a group blockwalk and/or phone banking event. 

Blockwalks:  Meet at a local campaign office for a TTP-endorsed candidate; receive talking points and a walk list; obtain push cards and TTP voter guides; distribute literature door to door.

Phonebanks:  Meet at a local campaign office for a TTP-endorsed candidate; receive a script and a call list; make your calls and/or texts and point people to our online voting guide.

Candidates will provide snacks and waters, and we’ll be taking group pictures to share on social media. 

Wait... No TTP satellite group near you?  No worries!  Pick a candidate to volunteer for, or contact [email protected] for a printout and walklist for YOUR precinct/neighborhood.

Group campaign efforts are a great way to influence elections, knock out a lot of work for the candidate, bond with fellow activists, build relationships with your future elected representatives, and have fun while working!  Plus, when we share the pics, hopefully it encourages others to do the same.
