Friend, Mitch McConnell’s campaign just released a new attack ad, and it’s a new low—even for him.
In the ad, Mitch calls me a liar and pats himself on the back for the federal response to the current crisis we face globally—a brazen attempt to rewrite history.
The fact is, Mitch doesn’t want voters to know that he just took a long weekend off to fly home for political events in the middle of a worsening public health crisis. He doesn’t want people to know that emergency legislation passed by the House could have also been amended as needed and passed if the Senate took action.
And he sure as heck didn’t want me to call him out on it.
Our team isn’t going to let him pull the wool over people’s eyes—no matter how much money he spends. I know everyone’s dealing with a lot right now, but if you’d like to help fight back, please chip in here:

Let’s be clear. I’m glad the Senate finally started to take action over the last few days. But there’s just no good reason it took so long and so much more needs to be done—at times like this, every day of inaction is a day we aren’t doing enough to combat a serious threat.
The role of Senate majority leader comes with a lot of power and a lot of responsibility, especially in times of crisis. With his new ad, Mitch is taking his eye off the ball, yet again, to play political games. He’s showing all of us that having power means more to him than using it to help people.
Mitch McConnell may not be used to being held accountable, but this time, he will be. I’ll make sure of it. Make a donation if you’d like to help:
