Friend, I'm shivering, and it's not just because we're experiencing historically low January temperatures in Dallas this week.

I've got chills because a new poll has us just 2 POINTS down from Ted Cruz, and we're statistically TIED for the first time in this race.

All of the outlets from CNN to FiveThirtyEight say we can win this thing. When we launched our campaign last year, polls showed us 5 points behind Ted Cruz, and now we’re in striking distance of taking the lead in this race.

But our success terrified the GOP establishment – Ted Cruz’s mega donors are going to respond to this new poll by pouring millions into Texas, and we’ve got to be ready to fight back.

Friend, if we fall short of this – or any – goal, we could have to pull back on critical operations, from campaign events to voter outreach. We can't afford to let that happen, so can you chip in $5, or whatever you're able, to help me hit my $45,000 daily fundraising goal and keep Ted Cruz on the defensive? →

Unlike Ted Cruz, I'm running a grassroots campaign, and I'm not counting on extremist donors to buy this seat for me. So when I say we have TONS of ground to cover before the end of the month, I mean that there's no corporate PAC coming to save me. I depend on supporters like you to help me recruit volunteers, knock on doors, mail out pamphlets, and run ads.

That's why I'm personally asking you, friend: Can you rush a $5 donation right now to help me reach my $45,000 goal? I'm all fired up to defeat Ted Cruz, and I'm depending on this grassroots team to help me do it. →

Thank you for being a part of this team, and wherever you are, I hope you stay warm this winter!
