Dear Art in Action friends,

Creativity is Not Cancelled

With schools being closed and classes moving online, routines are being disrupted and stress is on the rise. In an effort to provide support to our community during this challenging time, the Art in Action team has pulled together resources for parents, caregivers, and guardians who may need to educate, engage, and entertain children at home.

Creating art together can help children process and express their emotions during these uncertain times. Art provides a relaxing outlet for a child’s creativity to run wild.

We have created an Online-Learning Art Portal ([link removed]) to share with all in need of K-8 art resources. Please explore, enjoy, and share with your community. Over the coming weeks Art in Action will continue to provide ideas for ways that you and your family can be busy creatively, while honoring directions from our health authorities.
