Dear John,

Congress took important steps this week to get food to
hungry children and help vulnerable families. But they didn't go far
enough.

The suffering and displacement caused by the pandemic will
last much longer than the outbreak itself. People need relief today
and as unemployment soars, we'll need a plan for recovery in the
future.

Join us today in urging Congress to pass a comprehensive stimulus
package that supports both local economies and families.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Act (SNAP) is America's most
important tool for getting food to kids and families in need. It has
also been shown to be an extremely effective stimulus to the economy.
But SNAP wasn't built for a crisis of this magnitude. Congress needs
to take immediate action to expand SNAP benefits and prevent
overwhelming hunger in America.

How we take care of the most vulnerable members of our
nation is what defines us. Please take a minute to urge Congress to
take the necessary steps to prevent a widespread hunger disaster.

Thanks for all you do. And please stay safe.

Tom Nelson

Sincerely,

Lisa Davis
