While everyday people in America worry about losing their job or making next month’s rent during this crisis, two sitting senators in Congress have just earned themselves a gold star in government corruption.

Sen. Loeffler (R-GA) and Sen. Burr (R-NC) sold off millions of dollars in stocks after receiving a confidential briefing about the coronavirus weeks before our country felt any economic effects from it.

These senators are literally profiting from misery — THAT is what cashing in on a crisis looks like. 

Corruption in our government takes many forms, and it’s at the core of why I chose to run for Congress in the first place.

Greed machines like Verizon and AT&T line my opponent’s campaign coffers so they can influence policies. It’s no coincidence that he’s accepted over $55,000 from communications and electronics companies like Intel, Verizon, AT&T, and Microsoft while sitting on committees that directly affect their bottom line.

Politicians who come with a price tag are not for the people. I’m the only candidate in this race who can’t be bought. If you are able, please chip in $20 or more so we can get to Washington and fight this together.

Our grassroots campaign has already exceeded expectations. And it’s becoming more clear that my opponent, backed by the DCCC and private interests, is threatened by what we’ve built.

We are in a crisis, but we were in a crisis before this pandemic hit. Regular, hardworking people have suffered under a dwindling safety net, decade after decade. This is why we can’t stop now.
