Did you know that Soldiers' Angels originated as a grassroots movement? [[link removed]] Indeed, it all began two decades ago when a Military mom, concerned about her son's unit lacking essential supplies during their deployment to Iraq, took the initiative. She rallied her community, sparking a wildfire of support that inspired hundreds of thousands of Americans solely through word of mouth.
Throughout the years, we've evolved, expanded, and sustained the legacy of that mom's vision, impacting the lives of millions of Service Members, Veterans, and their families.
Despite our growth, we remain at our core a grassroots organization, relying on our community to propel us forward and enable us to continue aiding millions more.

Back in September, Soldiers' Angels opened a new Military and Veteran Food Distribution site in Dallas, Texas. The event has continued monthly, but we've been having a tough time filling volunteer spots at the distribution.
