We are continuing to work for you, but tomorrow at 830 is our County Board meeting, so I am preparing and will make this short.

First, Parks, fields, playgrounds, dog parks, courts and trails remain open for self-directed recreation and leisure. While our outdoor facilities are open, patrons should still follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention health safety guidelines ([link removed]) while outside as well:
* Practice social distancing by maintaining six feet of personal space
* Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
* Sneeze and cough into a napkin or elbow.
* If you plan on touching equipment, wipe it down with disinfectant wipes before and after use.

We need you to be vigilant about safety when you go outdoors too!!
County Resources and Action to Help Small Businesses ([link removed])
Second, the County is acting to provide resources and help to small businesses impacted by closures due to the virus. Click above.
Arlington County Treasurer's Statement on Taxes ([link removed])
Third, the Arlington County Treasurer has acted so that no penalties will be assessed on taxes due between March 13 and April 30. This mainly impacts meals, food and beverage, and hotel taxes. Click above for more.

Fourth, the County is putting out a daily email now, so click above and sign up. I will continue to update you, but our County email is important: getting smart about this fast is part of how we minimize infections and save lives.
