Zeke has a proven track record of listening to our community’s needs. When one of our local schools fell victim to an act of gun violence, Zeke organized a public hearing to hear directly from the students about how he could best help them. He worked hand in hand with those very students to do a listening tour at the local schools and passed the Elijah Cummings Healing City Act, making Baltimore the first city to have legislated trauma-informed care.
