This week, Governor Youngkin and First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin, thanked members of our National Guard for their service.  America is truly the greatest country the world has ever known, and it is only because of the bravery, skill, and dedication of our service members that Americans live freely and in peace.

In her abundant love of both Virginia and horses, First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin participated in a video for the Virginia Equine Alliance, promoting the critical and growing role of the equine industry in the Commonwealth.  The First Lady discussed the invaluable roles horses play in changing the lives of so many deserving individuals. Horses provide therapy for children to help strengthen their growing bodies, and through a horse’s innate ability to love and connect, they help first responders and Veterans cope with PTSD.  The First Lady also touted the positive economic impact that the equine industry has, and the vast network of jobs created from it.

As the First Lady says, “Virginia’s economy wins with horses.”
