Hey team — we know it's the weekend, so we'll keep this pretty quick.

Today's the 20th, which means we're just about two-thirds of the way through January.

It's been an important month for our campaign. And after hitting our FEC fundraising goals to end 2023, our team had pretty high expectations that we could keep the momentum going.

So we set some ambitious goals. Ones that we knew — with the continued support of our grassroots movement — we could reach. But the truth is, even though we're about 66% through January, we're still only 50% of the way to those goals.

Is it the end of the world? No. We still have time to get back on track.

But it does mean that we need a big day today. Especially on email, where the vast majority of our grassroots donations come from. So today's one of those days we have to ask:

Can you chip in a contribution — of $5 or anything you can — to stand with Ilhan Omar today? It would mean a lot to see your name on our donor list today.

Election Day will be here quicker than we think, and it's the resources we raise early in the year that'll pay off the most in the long run.
