Friend, I have some incredible news to kick off the election year: The latest polls show me with a slight edge over my GOP opponents in Ohio's must-win Senate race.

But with Mitch McConnell coming after me as a top target for defeat, I need your support to help me keep my lead. That's why my team and I set a goal to raise $50,000 by midnight tomorrow and I'm counting on you to help us reach it. Will you chip in $5 now to win in Ohio and keep the Senate blue?

Friend, we can't celebrate this win for long – because we already have a problem: My Trump-backed opponent is spending $2 million of his personal fortune to launch TV ads and defeat me. If we don't fight back ASAP, I'm worried we could be drowned out right as the election year starts.
