Friends,

As you may have heard, I tested positive for COVID-19 this week. My family and I are quarantined to keep everyone safe, and we are so grateful for all the support we’ve received.

I’m not sure who I was in contact with that got me sick, and you may not know who you've been in contact with or who you might be exposing the virus to unknowingly. That’s why it’s so important that we all practice social distancing and it’s why I’m asking you to take this pledge today.

We need to take this seriously. I strongly encourage each and every one of us to do our part to stop the spread of this virus. Here are some guidelines provided by the CDC on how to socially distance yourself:

• Avoid social gatherings of more than 10 people and maintain a 6 foot distance between yourself and others
• Work from home whenever possible
• Avoid discretionary travel
• Do not visit nursing or retirement homes, or long-term care facilities unless to provide critical assistance
• Avoid dining in restaurants by utilizing drive-through, pickup, or delivery options

We’re all in this together. The only way we get through this is by working together and stepping up as members of this community.
