Learn more about what my office has been up to this week Dear john, I am proud to announce the launch of my fifth annual Valentines for Veterans community event! Each year, I partner with the Department of Veterans Affairs to spread love and gratitude to veterans in Georgia. With the help of local schools and individuals just like you, my office is able to collect thousands of messages that will be distributed to veterans who receive care at the Atlanta VA Medical Center and locations across our community. I hope you will consider joining me in this effort--details on how to participate are outlined below This week in Congress, I spoke up for bipartisan solutions to support pregnant and parenting students. We should be working to improve graduation rates and helping Americans stay in school, not leveraging the needs of students and their children against the personal topics of reproductive rights and abortion.
