Should Catholic students help fund abortion provider with every sip of Starbucks coffee?
> Sign this petition to help them say “NO” |
Dear
John xxxxxx,
Students at Catholic Saint Leo University in Florida are upset and need your voice.
Why?
Because administrators at the Catholic university plan to bring Starbucks to campus even though the corporation helps fund Planned Parenthood, the #1 abortion provider in America.
Who wants to fund or favor the killing of unborn babies with every sip of coffee?
Not pro-life students.
“I reject Starbucks on campus because they support Planned Parenthood, an abortion provider,” said Matalin Shaver, a pro-life senior at Saint Leo.
“I would love to see a coffee provider that is local or another supplier that does not support Planned Parenthood or go against our Catholic values.”
Please:

Starbucks attacks moral values in multiple ways:
Funding largest abortion provider: According to the Media Research Center, “Starbucks' support of Planned Parenthood is an established fact.” The corporation matches donations to Planned Parenthood.
Same-sex “marriage” advocacy: Starbucks attacked true marriage by signing an amicus brief urging the US Supreme Court to overturn state marriage laws in Obergefell v. Hodges (2015).
Transgender support: In denial of human nature created by God, Starbucks’ web site declared its support of transgenderism: “Starbucks added coverage of gender reassignment surgery to the company’s health benefits.”
Catholic colleges should never favor abortion or sins against nature in any way.
So please urge Saint Leo University to reject Starbucks and pick a coffee supplier that doesn’t fund the killing of innocent preborn babies.
But you might be wondering... do petitions really work?
Yes. They do.
Success #1: Loyola University Maryland pulled its internship entry for the radical pro-abortion group, National Organization for Women (NOW). 11,171 joined this TFP petition.
Success #2: Jesuit-run Georgetown University yanked its listing of Medical Students for Choice, a pro-abortion group that teaches students how to perform abortions. 15,380 signed the TFP petition.
Success #3: After TFP Student Action collected 9,000+ petitions, Boston College deleted Planned Parenthood from its list of internship offers.
Because -- when we band together to defend the Faith and fight for the unborn against the Culture of Death, victory is possible.
In Baptism, we are called to know, love, and serve TRUTH.
Moreover, the highest purpose of our Catholic colleges is to guide students to the TRUTH -- not to compromise with abortion, same-sex “marriage” and transgender confusion.
Please remember:
After you sign your prayerful protest
Help me spread the word by forwarding this message to 5 friends (or even your entire address book).
You don’t need to be a college student to participate.
Thank you for fighting the good fight. |
