Here are just a few of the key issues that are on the line this year and where my Republican opponent, Marc Molinaro, stands on these issues:

* Reproductive Rights - Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, far-right extremists have been hellbent on banning abortions across the country. Marc Molinaro voted to restrict abortion access for military members and their families and opposed codifying the right to choose in New York.

* Gun Control - We need to protect folks from gun violence and keep weapons of war out of our schools, but Marc Molinaro refuses to pass common-sense gun safety legislation and even cashes checks from the NRA.

* Climate Change - Our planet is facing existential threats from climate change, and we need bold legislation to keep our planet safe for generations to come. But when wildfires were causing dangerous levels of air quality in New York last year, Marc Molinaro said it was too soon to talk about climate change.
