In one week, Donald Trump is coming back to Arizona. He’s coming because he knows Arizona is critical to his re-election.

But put that aside for a minute. Today, we want you to think back a few years.

Think about how it felt back in 2020 when we kicked Trump out of the White House. When we sent people like Mark Kelly and Rev. Warnock to the Senate.

It felt good, didn’t it?

And when we won again in Arizona and Georgia in 2022, when we held the Senate — that felt like progress.

Good things happened because lots of good people took action in those campaigns. We passed bipartisan gun safety laws and protections for voting rights, we capped the cost of insulin and made huge investments in infrastructure and renewable energy.

But if Kari Lake wins… if Mitch McConnell becomes Majority Leader… if Trump is President. That isn’t just bad. It’s dangerous. It could be the end of our democracy itself.
