Wouldn’t you know it? Another GOP grifter seeking elected office in Ohio—and receiving Trump’s endorsement, of course—has a record of shady business dealings running a car dealership. 

The AP reported that Bernie Moreno, a Trump-backed candidate trying to unseat U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, faced multiple discrimination lawsuits related to his Cleveland car dealership. Moreno was accused of discriminating against his own employees—the very people who helped him achieve the vaunted “success as a businessman” he is now using to launch his political career. 

The MAGA Republican I am challenging has a similar record: before running for Congress, Troy Balderson owned and managed a used car dealership that eventually faced legal action for deceptive practices, including initiating unauthorized auto loans.

Both of these grifters seem small-time compared to the fraud and abuse perpetrated by Donald Trump and his associates both before, during, and after his utter failure as president. 

But it really is no coincidence that these so-called “businessmen” bend over backwards to get Trump’s endorsement. To pull off their latest cons on the voters, they need the support of the master grifter himself. 

I’m sick of these con artists and thieves branding themselves as successful business people when all they really do is defraud customers and exploit workers. We now have the chance to take down both of these shameless grifters—and I hope that I can count on your support to rally Ohio voters to win my race and defend Sherrod Brown this November:
