Saludos John, Gabe Vasquez here. Since day one of the 118th Congress, it’s been abundantly clear that House Republicans would rather do anything but serve their constituents.
From rebelling against the Speaker they elected to wasting time on baseless impeachment inquiries, I’ve never been more disappointed in my colleagues, especially when it comes to addressing an issue important to many of us in New Mexico: the crisis at our border.
Instead of working across the aisle to find bipartisan solutions to this crisis, many Republicans have openly stated they would rather use their lack of progress as political fodder against Democrats. That’s unacceptable , and I’ve had enough.
