This week has been jam-packed with events to spread Angela’s message across the state! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us this week amidst the first snowfall of the season. 

THIS WEEK ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL

Angela spent time on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Howard County with County Executive Calvin Ball, where they donated groceries to food banks throughout the county. Thank you to the ladies of Iota Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, the men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and  Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. for joining us and helping us give back to the community. 

We also celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day, in Rockville, with the historic Iota Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. at their annual MLK Day celebration. It was great to spend time with so many friends reflecting on the importance of the day.   

We continued the festivities with the Rho Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for their Founders Day/MLK gathering, where we discussed the power of sisterhood and reflected on Dr. King’s teachings and ideas. Dr. King’s life and legacy lives on today as we continue to fight for his dreams for America: justice and equity for all.

WUSA 9 Video - Candidate running for Senate in Maryland ramps up campaign efforts 

One of the candidates running for Senate in Maryland, Angela Alsobrooks, held an open house last night at her Senate Campaign Headquarters in Upper Marlboro.

We’re extremely excited to announce that we’re accepting applications for our Fellowship Program aimed at high school and college students. If you know a young person looking to get some hands-on experience in politics, encourage them to apply here. 

We have campaign offices now open in Largo and Silver Spring, with our new office in Baltimore opening next Friday! We’d love to have you join Team Alsobrooks in volunteering to help us get out the vote - sign up here if you’d like to join!  

Here on Team Alsobrooks, we’re proud to be a campaign powered by grassroots donors. We believe in Angela's ability to go further and do better for our communities, and we know you do too! It’s going to take all of us working together to get Angela over the finish line this November.
