Update: Ward 3 Student Meals Site Opening April 1st

Dear Neighbors,

I'm happy to report that on April 1st DC Public Schools will be adding a student free meal site at Wilson High School in Ward 3!

This will be one of ten additional meal sites that provide free lunch and breakfast meals to children in need during the school closures. No child should go hungry during this emergency and I'm grateful to our school partners for listening and responding to our call for greater food access for food insecure students in Ward 3.

In my last email, I asked for your help in this effort and I was overwhelmed by the incredible community response. Thank you to everyone who offered to help distribute meals, shared your ideas, and advocated with me on this issue—we did it!
