CNN: Takeaways from CNN’s New Hampshire town hall with Ron DeSantis
<[link removed]>
"Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis warned in a CNN town hall Tuesday night that
Republicans are “going to lose” the 2024 election if they nominate former
President Donald Trump. He used the event to make the case that with a
conservative policy record, he would be better able than Haley to consolidate
Republican support; and with less personal baggage, he’d be better positioned
than Trump to win a general election. “If Donald Trump is the nominee, the
election will revolve around all these legal issues,” DeSantis said."
Boston Globe: Nikki Haley says she won’t debate in New Hampshire
<[link removed]>
"Two presidential debates slated to happen in New Hampshire in the coming days
are up in the air after former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley said
Tuesday she has no intention of going toe-to-toe with Florida Governor Ron
DeSantis again, as long as the Republican frontrunner, Donald Trump, remains
absent. Haley and DeSantis — who squared off last week in Des Moines for a
two-person debate that the former president skipped — were invited to two
debates in New Hampshire: one hosted by ABC News and WMUR on Thursday, Jan. 18,
at Saint Anselm College in Manchester and the other hosted by CNN on Sunday,
Jan. 21, at New England College in Henniker."
WSPA: Ron DeSantis speaks in Greenville
<[link removed]>
"Florida Governor and Republican Presidential candidate Ron Desantis drew a
large crowd in Greenville. The venue, the runway cafe at the Downtown
Greenville Airport was at maximum capacity, with a few hundred people in
attendance. Desantis spoke to voters about his plan if elected president. He
said his focus would be on education, immigration, and military support, among
other issues. “The American dream has slipped away from people,” Desantis said.
“You look at our cities and how they have crumbled with crime, drug use, and
homelessness. It is absolutely tragic what has happened.” Desantis’ main
talking point was his ability to get things done, which he said has been proven
in Florida, and he believes triumphs anything Nikki Haley accomplished in South
Carolina, or even as the Ambassador to the United Nations."
WIS: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis speaks about women’s sports at SC State House
<[link removed]>
"Florida governor and presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis made a stop in
Columbia to attend a press conference at the South Carolina State House
Tuesday. According to a press release sent ahead, officials said, “They will be
highlighting work being done in the state to protect women’s sports.”

Governor Ron DeSantis has never backed down from a tough fight. He’s a native
Floridian with blue-collar roots, played baseball at Yale, and graduated with
honors from Harvard Law School. He served in the Navy as a JAG officer in Iraq,
worked as a federal prosecutor, and worked in the halls of Congress. As
governor, he has kept Florida free, taken on woke corporations, and stood up to
the liberal media.
Will you join us in supporting Ron DeSantis for president now?

He’s the freedom fighter that America needs.
