John,
I'm emailing to respectfully ask if you can chip in a donation of $3 to my grassroots campaign to succeed Adam Schiff in CA-30.
Let me explain why:
We are less than 50 days away from one of this cycle’s most competitive congressional primary races.
And it's no secret that campaigns can be expensive – especially if you're running for Congress in the Los Angeles media market, the second priciest in the country.
It's not uncommon to see Democratic candidates resort to taking big checks from corporate PACs to keep up. But I'm doing things a bit differently.
We’re not talking corporate PAC cash and are counting on support from individual donors to power our efforts. And from early polling, we know our campaign has the most momentum with the people of CA-30.
But with so many voters just starting to tune into this race, the outcome is still very much undecided. And we have to ensure we can reach every voter across every inch of our district for the next seven weeks.
We’ve set a goal of 1,000 individual donors before the end of the month to show our grassroots strength and make sure we have the resources to contact every undecided voter. If you can, please chip in $3 today.
If you care about stopping the influence of big money in politics, then it’s crucial you support candidates who refuse to be funded by special interests. I accept no corporate PAC money because those are the values I’ll bring to Washington. Now, my campaign needs your help to make up for the major PAC money that has started to flood into this race.
Your support gives us the resources to reach voters and get over the finish line. Please chip in $3, or whatever you can, to help us ramp up our communication efforts with undecided voters and give CA-30 the unbought representative it deserves.
Thank you,
Laura
