New Planning, Management, and Budget Unit Chief Myisha Wallace
BJS is pleased to announce Myisha Wallace as the new chief of its Planning, Management, and Budget Unit. Myisha is a DC native with more than 25 years of federal service. She has a long-demonstrated commitment to the Department of Justice, having come to BJS from the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, where she started her federal career as a student intern. Myisha graduated from Trinity Washington University with a bachelor?s degree in human relations and a master?s degree in human resources management. Her work experience includes personnel and human resources management and administrative operations. In her spare time, Myisha enjoys reading, traveling, and discovering new restaurants.
The Bureau of Justice Statistics of the U.S. Department of Justice is the principal federal agency responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating reliable statistics on crime and criminal justice in the United States. Kevin M. Scott, PhD, is the acting director.
