Dear John,
I hope you are having a good start to the new year. I'm excited to share that our community is receiving over $65 million before the end of January! Read on to learn more about this good news.
$2.8 MILLION FOR CLEAN WATER
This week, I announced the good news that the Inland Empire Utilities Agency is receiving over $2.8 million to help complete the Chino Basin Project, which will produce enough drinkable water for nearly 100,000 residents per year once completed.
Having access to clean water is a fundamental right for every resident in the Inland Empire, and I will always fight for more federal resources to ensure that is our reality.
$63 MILLION TO LOWER AIR POLLUTION
Did you know that in our state, transportation is responsible for 80 percent of air pollutants?
I'm proud to share that California is receiving $63 million to repair and replace existing, non-operational publicly accessible EV charging ports. This will help make driving EVs more convenient and accessible, lowering carbon emissions and improving the health of Inland Empire residents.
SURVEY: DO YOU SUPPORT THE CHILD TAX CREDIT?
This week, my colleagues on the House and Senate tax-writing committees announced a proposal that would temporarily expand the Child Tax Credit (CTC) up to $2,000/year per child by 2025.
Do you support this expansion?
