I need your help: I'm fighting to end government corruption
and protect hard-working American families, but the COVID-19
epidemic has severely impacted my campaign's fundraising.
If you believe in the values my campaign stands for, will
you please rush $10 before our critical end-of-quarter
deadline on March 31?

Hi there,
Yesterday, ProPublica broke a huge story:
Last month, after receiving a confidential briefing on COVID-19,
Republican Senator Richard Burr sold hundreds of thousands of
dollars worth of stock -- even as the GOP falsely claimed that our
country was well-prepared for the virus.
Frankly, I'm furious. Since COVID-19 began to spread in the
United States, my campaign has poured our time and energy into
keeping the public safe. We canceled in-person campaign events
and assumed Republicans would do the right thing and follow our
lead.
Instead, Republican senators were rushing to profit from this
public health crisis while failing to sound the alarm. There's no
greater indication of the depths of their corruption -- or the
urgent need for change on Capitol Hill.
During President Obama's first term, I fought to pass the STOCK
Act -- legislation that prohibits members of Congress from making
stock trades based on non-public information. The idea was
simple: Members of Congress should be putting the American people
first, not their own pocketbooks.
But with Mitch McConnell at the helm of the Senate, rooting out
government corruption has been nearly impossible. If we want a
better government, we need to win back the Senate -- and that
starts with winning my seat in New Mexico.
In less than two weeks, my campaign is facing a major
end-of-quarter deadline. We're not making any secret stock trades
and we don't take a dollar from corporate PACs -- so I'm counting
on you to help us make up our fundraising gap and keep New Mexico
blue.
Please, give what you can -- and help us spread the word.
