It’s been another busy week for us, and I wanted to share some updates with you as well as my thoughts on some issues.

Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police

Spent some quality time with the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police and local LEOs in Columbus.

I’m proud of the work we’ve done to strengthen our partnerships with local enforcement officers and first responders across the state.

Georgia Access

Georgia Access, our state-based health insurance exchange, is increasing options, lowering premiums, and boosting overall enrollment.

The above video shares some key points about its early success.

One More Thought

Three years ago, President Biden removed the Houthis from the list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO). That allowed them to raise more money, stockpile more weapons, and ultimately target American sailors, as we’ve seen in recent weeks.

This week, news reports said the administration was going to redesignate the Houthis as an FTO. We now know that’s not the case. Instead, they’re labeling the Houthis a “specially designated global terrorist group.”

Fancy words, but it won’t take effect for 30 days, it won’t restrict Houthi travel, and it won’t sanction those who give them support 🤔

So my final thought is this: This administration’s refusal to lead with strength is making our country less safe.
