Welcome to 2024. We want to make you aware of some extremely important issues we've been monitoring that will need your attention! Stay tuned in the coming weeks for next steps.

  • In December, Michigan legislators proposed policy (watch here) to regulate homeschool families based on an outrageous claim that children are more at risk for abuse if they are homeschooled. Despite this blatant falsehood, it’s become a talking point for the Attorney General and those who want to register and regulate homeschooled children. We're working closely with MiCHN and others to protect your rights. Michigan law says that parents have the right to "determine and direct the care, teaching, and education of their children."

There is no bill introduced yet. We'll keep you updated as anything progresses and we'll need your voice!

  • Bills have also been introduced (SB 678-681) to legalize physician assisted suicide. CTV is committed to protecting life from conception until natural death and will be working with others to have your voice heard on this issue. At this time, we continue to monitor these bills and will keep you informed. Hearings for these bills are not being held yet, but stay tuned for future updates and action alerts!

As you've seen continually this past year, elections have consequences! We are preparing to launch our Pews to the Polls program for the elections later this year. We hope you'll engage—whether helping us with your time, talent or treasure (Donate hereand/or consider running for one of the many local offices in your area. Appeals court rejects Biden admin's attempt to force ER doctors to perform abortions

Earlier this month, we saw a huge victory for women, children and healthcare professionals. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th circuit ruled unanimously that the Biden administration cannot use the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act to force emergency room doctors to perform abortions. Praise God for this win! Click here for the full article from "Alliance Defending Freedom."
