This was an important week, Team. I officially filed for reelection to continue serving Michigan’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress and I delivered my annual State of the District Address.

I had a lot to celebrate in this year’s State of the District Address. We delivered important federal investments for infrastructure, manufacturing, clean energy, and environmental protection projects which will bring good-paying jobs to our district. From the Brownfield programs, which are cleaning up and redeveloping former industrial sites, to bringing supply chains home, starting with semiconductor chips, we are making a difference in our community.

Michigan is setting a positive example to the nation that when we work together, we can solve the real problems that hardworking Americans face. Thanks to your support, we’re seeing the positive impact of our work in Congress. Still, there is so much work to be done.

In November, Michigan voters will make their voices heard in one of our country’s most critical elections for generations. This year, I’m not campaigning for just myself, Team. When I talk to voters, I will make sure they know Democrats are working hard to deliver for America, from President Joe Biden to local electeds down the ballot.
