John,
Last night, Donald Trump filed his brief on the merits of his case asking the Supreme Court to overturn our win in Colorado barring him from the ballot. This was his main opportunity to make his case before oral arguments on February 8th.
A flurry of amicus briefs were also submitted supporting Trump’s arguments.
Now we’re working around the clock to respond and lay out our case before our January 31st deadline.
John, this is the biggest fight CREW has ever taken on, and it is the culmination of over a year of hard work.
We’re about to go up against a former president who refuses to accept his disqualification or that the rule of law ever applies to him. It’s going to be our toughest battle yet, but the most important. Can you make a donation today to help us defend our win barring Trump from the ballot?

Since January 6th, 2021, CREW has worked hard to make one thing abundantly clear: The Constitution bars Donald Trump from the ballot and from serving as president again.
It’s plainly written in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution:
"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."
Our argument is simple: Insurrectionists who swore an oath to protect the Constitution are disqualified from public office. They do not get a second chance to overthrow our democracy.
That’s what the Constitution says, and that’s what we’ll be explaining soon before the highest court in the land.
Please make a donation to CREW today to support our efforts to hold Trump accountable and to keep him off the Colorado ballot →
Thank you,
CREW
