Winning one of the most competitive U.S. Senate races in the country won’t be easy.

There’s travel almost every day. Events. Time spent on the phone, in meetings, away from your family and your children.

You have to watch a former president of the United States hold rallies to defeat you in your own state while your opponent tries to convince her supporters that you are some kind of terrible person.
