Ashley Hinson (IA-02), a member of the House Select Committee on China, called out Secretary of State Antony Blinken over the Biden administration's soft approach on China. Last Friday, Blinken "rolled out the red carpet" for China's leading envoy, who was responsible for a "global scheme to kidnap and silence anti-Communist dissidents." Tuesday In 2020, Democrats convinced Oregonians to adopt a radical experiment that decriminalized possession of all drugs, including fentanyl, methamphetamine and heroin. Measure 110 has had deadly consequences, and Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) continued her calls to repeal it. Wednesday The latest example of the "revolving door" in Washington came from former Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi, who Republican Mazi Pilip is running against in the Feb. 13 special Congressional District election in NY-03 to replace George Santos. Pilip highlighted how Suozzi more than tripled his salary since voters fired him in 2022 Thursday 14 House Democrats joined the House GOP in condemning the Biden administration for the ongoing migrant crisis. According to Politico, "The non-binding resolution, which passed 225-187, 'denounces the Biden administration’s open-borders policies' and 'condemns the national security and public safety crisis' it says results from them." Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02) reminded voters that House Republicans already passed legislation to secure the border back in May, but Senate Democrats refuse to act.
