UB40 featuring Ali Campbell - The Hits Tour
UB40 [ [link removed] ]
Tue 16 April
Motorpoint Arena

The Hits tour celebrates the biggest songs from the UK’s most successful Reggae band of all time.

The tour marks 40 years since the release of UB40’s seminal album "Labour of Love" in 1983, which produced the groundbreaking hits such as "Cherry Oh Baby, Many Rivers to Cross, Please Don’t Make Me Cry", and of course the ubiquitous "Red Red Wine" which topped the charts both sides of the Atlantic.

Further hits from across the band’s career such as "Kingston Town", a cover of" I Got You Babe" with Chrissie Hynde, and "(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You" helped the band and Ali Campbell become the authentic voice of UK Reggae.

Until Sun 14 April
Nottingham Castle

STIM CINEMA is a new touring exhibition and moving image installation exploring repetitive actions and autistic experiences, tracking back to the earliest forms of moving image, and the birth of cinema and cinematic language.

The exhibition takes the action of stimming - ‘the practice of physical repetition as a way of taking sensory pleasure in recurrence, or of expressing and alleviating anxiety, and a common trait of autistic experience’ - as its starting point, connecting delight in repetition to the birth of cinema.

Entry to the exhibition is included as part of the Nottingham Castle general admission ticket. Pay £12 to visit all year round (children under 15 go free, 3 children per paid adult).
