Over the past seven years, my family and I have given everything to serve the extraordinary people of the great state of Louisiana—it has been the greatest honor and privilege of my life.
Though my role has since expanded, my mission as Speaker remains the same: God, family, and country.
I believe we need to unite as a nation.
The hour is late, and the crisis is great – but I am bullish about the future of America.

The freest, most successful nation in the history of the world – but our days as the beacon of freedom for the world are numbered if we let the Radical Democrats force their anti-American agenda on the rest of us.
And I believe in the law.
