John, I want to share one of my favorite hobbies with you and explain why I love Orange County.
One of my treasured pastimes – that I enjoy solo or with my family and friends – is surfing. We have miles and miles of beautiful coastline in Orange County that are enjoyed by our CA-47 community.

I am grateful to have grown up in Orange County and to have built my career here as a
pro bono lawyer and community leader. When my husband and I decided to raise our family, we knew that we wanted our children to grow up here too. And now, I have the honor of running for Congress to represent this community that has given me so much.
This is a special place to me and thousands of others who make CA-47 their home. I am dedicated to doing right by them every step of the way during this grassroots campaign, and eventually, in Congress representing them.
There is a lot at stake here in OC and across the country. Our democracy is under attack by far-right extremists – including our likely GOP opponent Scott Baugh – who are doing everything in their power to strip us of reproductive rights, roll back environmental protections for our coastlines, and much more.
All of this is to say John, this fight is personal. With less than 50 days until our must-win primary election and only weeks until ballots are sent, I hope you will stick by my side.
