Corporations will stop at nothing to quash worker power and protect their profits.

Corporate executives evade their obligations to uphold workplace standards and respect workers’ right to organize by having multiple entities hire, schedule, and manage employees. This “joint employment” structure is especially common in industries like retail, delivery, and hospitality which employ many workers, many of whom are women, people of color, and immigrants.

A new Biden Administration rule would ensure that jointly employed workers can exercise their right to bargain collectively for better pay and benefits, and employers are accountable when they violate workplace standards. However, Congress is considering blocking that rule so corporate bosses can exploit workers with impunity. In fact, the House has voted to overturn that rule already.

Sign and send this petition to protect all workers. Congress must not let corporations skirt the law to deny workers their rights.
