The fact that I’m writing this email right now makes my blood boil.
Middle school student J.A. attended a football game with a group of friends, and to show school spirit, he painted athletic “eye blacks” on his cheeks. The same kind you see both athletes and spectators wearing every time you watch sports on television.
But self-righteous, woke San Diego school officials are on the hunt to make every single thing about race.
And J.A. (a good kid with nice rule-following parents) seemed like an easy target. San Diego school officials blatantly ignored every other painted face in the stands and deemed J.A. an aggressive racist, suspended him, banned him from sporting events, and issued a hate crime on his permanent record.
Well, these freedom-robbing, race-baiting leftist administrators picked the wrong family to mess with.
J.A. and his parents are taking legal action, and we’re standing with them.
Help us defend J.A.’s rights and answer the poll by midnight tonight!
Put yourself in the shoes of this 8th grader who was accused of committing a hate crime after showing up to a football game with face paint.
Even though he did nothing wrong, he’s being condemned as an evil racist who needs to be punished.
It would’ve been easy for J.A. to accept the punishment, cave in, and keep his head down.
But he was brave enough to stand up and fight back.
He can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m writing you today.
Keep in mind this is a school district with unlimited funds that has a political agenda to preserve and promote its DEI philosophy. J.A. and his family simply don’t have the resources to match.
As you know, the Center for American Liberty has a track record of taking on these types of cases and winning. We don’t have unlimited funds and we are entirely reliant on supporters like you to underwrite our cases.
If you agree that this is a case worthy of the Center for American Liberty’s involvement, please answer the poll by midnight tonight and consider making a generous tax-deductible donation to support this case.
Don’t let San Diego school administrators get away with falsely accusing an 8th grade sports fan of a HATE CRIME.
Thank you in advance for your response!
