Our latest findings indicate that Google retains Location History data about 50% of the time. This means that individuals seeking abortion are left with the same odds as a coin flip on whether their location data might be retained by the company and potentially subpoenaed by prosecutors in right-wing states that have restricted abortion care.

In addition to our updated research, we've joined forces with the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, urging an investigation into Google's unfair and deceptive trade practices.
