San Franciscans deserve to be safe in our communities.
Dear John:
We need a comprehensive strategy that includes more police officers, more prevention and more help for vulnerable residents. Prop B will help us be safer now and be more secure in the years to come.
Prop B will set minimum staffing standards for police officers so we can see a real increase in the number of officers patrolling our neighborhoods. We’ve lost hundreds of police officers in the last few years - Prop B will address that hiring shortage through dedicated funding. And, critically, that funding won’t come at the expense of our efforts to hire other emergency and public health workers and invest in tools that deter and prevent crime.
We’re asking you to join City nurses, paramedics, frontline workers and community leaders to join the Prop B coalition.

Our Campaign Kick Off Is Coming.
We’re kicking off the Be Safer campaign on January 20 and hope to see you there. We’ll be at The Links Bar and Grill ([link removed]) where our coalition of frontline workers, public health professionals and community leaders will rally for minimum staffing, comprehensive safety and Prop B!
