Why would voters in a different district take the same chance? John, Lauren Boebert's cynical, opportunistic, and desperate move to try and remain in Congress at all costs has earned her the ire of many of the constituents she is abandoning by switching districts 5 months before the primary election. Take Mandie M, who replied to Boebert's Facebook announcement about her decision to switch districts: "Thank goodness! Now we can get some real representation in the 3rd District. You were useless." Matthew T said "This is pathetic. If you can't win in your own district, why make another district suffer? Trying to leech off of taxpayers because you can't do anything else." JJ commented on Boebert's post: "It's sad that you are so hungry for power you will run for a seat to represent a community you know nothing about." And Dick S from Mancos, Colorado, hits the issue right on the head: "It is a shame I can’t vote in the 4th District so I could vote for an opponent. This is just one more example as to why people have no trust in Congress. There is no loyalty, just a desire to get re-elected." *** These are just four examples, but they showcase Boebert's vulnerabilities as she seeks to win a crowded primary in a brand new district. If the people who originally elected her are calling her out for turning her back on them, why would voters in a different district take the same chance? We intend to amplify the voices of Boebert's former constituents so every voter in Colorado's Fourth will see her betrayal.
